Do all roads lead to God?
Answered from the commentary of William Kelly, H. J. Vine, J. T. Mawson and 4 others
No. There is one way to God and salvation: Jesus Christ; no one comes to the Father except through Him, and there is no salvation in any other.
God’s offer of salvation reaches all people, and He desires that all be saved, but this does not mean that all are saved or that there are other ways to Him. Salvation is received by faith in Christ; those who reject the gospel remain under judgment. A few passages note that before Christ came, people outside Israel could seek God and that God accepted those who feared Him, but they describe this as faith in God’s grace, not as another way of salvation.

What the commentators say
The passages the answer is drawn from, the most direct first, with the words that bear on the question marked.
Satan is very busy in India as elsewhere. He is doing His best to get it believed that all religions are practically one and the same, as long as their followers are sincere seekers after God. We are assured that sincere seekers after God will find Him, but it can only be through Christ. He is the Way. There are not several ways—the Hindu way, the Sikh way, the Mohammedan way, the Buddhist way, the Christian way—there is only ONE way. Christ says, “I am THE Way” there is no other.
The way to blessing and heaven and God has been opened wide and all may tread that way of peace, but there is one way and only one. "I am the way, the truth and the life: no man comes to the Father but by Me." Thus the Saviour said, and His words abide for us until this day.
The way to blessing and heaven and God has been opened wide and all may tread that way of peace, but there is one way and only one. I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by Me. Thus the Saviour said, and His words abide for us until this day.
A way is a great boon, especially through a wilderness which characteristically has no way. Neither had Eden, or unfallen creation, a way; but then it needed none. For all things everywhere were good, and as long as man ate not of the forbidden tree, there was no straying. All else it was for him to enjoy, giving thanks to God. But sin came in, and death, the harbinger of judgment; and all was changed into a wilderness, and men wandered in all directions, alas! all of them away from God and irreparably wrong: a wilderness-world truly, a void place, where there is no way. Not that promise did not, less or more, hold out the hope of better things; not that law did not in due time thunder and lighten; but God's way was not known, as His grace alone could show it. Now it is; for Christ is the Way, the only sure Way, for the most erring of sinners, avowedly for the lost, whom He is come to seek and to save; and He is the Way to the Father, not to God displayed in power and glory on the earth, as the Jew should expect for the day that is coming, when the rejected Messiah returns as the glorious Son of man. But He is much more, and above all time or change, the deepest rejection only forcing out what was there always, His own personal glory as Son of God superior to every dispensation. And in the fullest consciousness of it He says to dimly-seeing Thomas, "I am the way."
He that has the Son has life (1 John 5:12) and he “that confesses the Son has the Father also” (2:23). It is never stated the other way, as though it were reciprocal. “No man comes to the Father but by Me,” said the Son of God. “I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life.” This excludes all the efforts of man apart from the Son: it shuts out the natural man even at his very best. The Son is the Way, not simply a way! The Son is the Truth, not simply a portion of it! The Son is the Life, not simply a partial manifestation of it. Yea, “He is the true God and eternal life.”
Before leaving this chapter notice how in the latter part of it the exclusive claim of Jehovah is emphasised again and again. Beside Him there is "none else." The faith of Christ, and the Gospel which proclaims it, have today just this exclusive claim, as witnessed in such scriptures as John 6:68; John 14:6; Acts 4:12; Galatians 1:8-9. There are today men who would go to the Buddhist or Confucian acknowledging their religions as ways to God and only claiming that "Christianity" offers them a rather superior way. In so doing they bring themselves near to, if not actually under, the apostolic curse of Galatians 1:8, while they avoid the reproach that the Gospel brings. It is this exclusive claim, inherent in the Gospel, which provokes the opposition.
We read, "There is none other Name under heaven, given among men, whereby we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). To admit the possibility of salvation through any other would therefore be a denial of His Name.
“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved” (Acts 16:31). He is the only Saviour—not Mohammed, not Buddha, not Confucius. “There is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).
Outside of Christ there is no way back to God; outside of Him there is no truth to illuminate our path and guide us aright on a journey, whose terminus is either heaven or hell, a very vital matter; no life suitable for God, save that which emanates from Him alone.
Only then can we enjoy fully our blood-bought redemption when we live for Him, Who died for us. And you who never have believed that Christ died for your sins and have never accepted Him – you, who trust in your own works, your own righteousness, which in the sight of God are nothing but filthy rags – you who reject His sin-bearing, His finished Work, let me say to you there is but one Way to God – the Way of the Cross. He who died for our sins is that Way, and there never can be any other way. "No man cometh to the Father, but by Me" is an eternal, never-changing Truth. The greater part of the religious world rejects that Truth. It puts into its place another Gospel. Instead of preaching "Christ crucified" they speak of the leadership of Jesus and claim that the teachings of Jesus, practically applied, will save the world. That is a delusion! And because the religious world turns away from the cross of Christ, from the true heart of Christianity – that Christ died for our sins, that salvation for a lost world is offered and found alone beneath the Cross of Jesus–the night of sin becomes darker, and the manifestation of the power of darkness becomes greater, till an apostate Christendom worships the coming "Man of Sin," whose shadow lengthens in our day. O friend without Christ–take the Way of the Cross this very moment! Beneath that Cross, and there alone, you can have peace with God, righteousness and glory. And that Christ Who died for your sins loves you. He wants you! He is now waiting for you. He will welcome you, for He still assures you – "Whosoever cometh unto Me I will in no wise cast out." Repeat it now, and do it .

- John 14:6Jesus says to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father unless by me.
- Acts 4:12And salvation is in none other, for neither is there another name under heaven which is given among men by which we must be saved.
- Romans 10:9–139that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus as Lord, and shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised him from among [the] dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with [the] heart is believed to righteousness; and with [the] mouth confession made to salvation. 11For the scripture says, No one believing on him shall be ashamed. 12For there is no difference of Jew and Greek; for the same Lord of all [is] rich towards all that call upon him. 13For every one whosoever, who shall call on the name of the Lord, shall be saved.
- John 3:16–1816For God so loved the world, that he gave his only-begotten Son, that whosoever believes on him may not perish, but have life eternal. 17For God has not sent his Son into the world that he may judge the world, but that the world may be saved through him. 18He that believes on him is not judged but he that believes not has been already judged, because he has not believed on the name of the only-begotten Son of God.
