An Outline of Prophecy · stempublishing.com

For Israel, the Lord comes as the "Sun of Righteousness with healing in His wings" (Mal. 4:2). In contrast, when the Lord comes at the Rapture, He comes as the Morning Star (Rev. 2:28; 22:16; 2 Peter 1:19). The time of the morning star is at or just before the darkest part of the night, shortly before the sun rises. The darkest time, prophetically, is the Tribulation: the sun rising speaks of the dawn of the millennial day. So the Lord becomes King over all the earth. The people will see the King in His beauty (Isa. 33:17) and He will be exalted among the nations and in the earth (Ps. 46:10)—quite a contrast to His rejection nearly 2000 years ago!
